Our June meeting of Sticker Club for Grown-Ass Adults is themed Spill The Tea: Queen Charlotte’s No Kings Sticker Club\, aka STICKERTON. \nHere’s what’s wild\, though\, y’all. We have TWO events back-to-back this week in June\, and unlike Benedict and every bi person in the ton\, you actually CAN have both. Join us for both Spill The Tea Sticker Club AND Space Camp: A Celestial Craft Sampler for just $50! A savings of $20\, friends. \nWHAT DOES ONE DO AT A STICKER CLUB FOR GROWN-ASS ADULTS? \nOmg\, thank you so much for asking. \nWe live\, we laugh\, and we put stickers on shit. We’ll provide abundant stickers\, plus fun options for your base\, like journals\, bookmarks\, and postcards. Plus\, fun sticker surprises and giveaways every month! \nWe’re meeting at Divine Barrel\, the arts & silliness hub of Charlotte’s brewery scene. Feel free to grab a drink while we’re there to support our besties! \nFAQs: \nCAN MY KID COME? \nThis is Sticker Club for Grown-Ass Adults\, so unless your child is 18 or over\, no\, they cannot join.  \nCAN I BRING MY OWN STICKERS? \nYou’re welcome to BYOS\, but if you’re not looking to share with the group\, make sure that you protect them with your life. Our sticker events get chaotic in the best way\, and we can’t promise your stickers won’t try to join the madness. \nCAN I BRING MY OWN THING-TO-STICK-STICKERS-ON? \nAbsolutely. Please bring something extra weird. We’re so excited to see it. THAT SAID\, we cannot allow reusable sticker books/sticker transfer paper because a) the entire point of Sticker Club is to release the sticker anxiety of our youths and actually stick stickers\, not save them\, and b) we’ve noticed that reusable sticker book folks use 3-5x more stickers than folks who are sticker-spamming/sticker-bombing/whatever-you-want-to-call-this\, and we just can’t financially accommodate that rate of consumption. Anyone who’s been to Sticker Club can attest that we are VERY generous with our massive sticker collection\, but we do have to keep parameters in place to make this venture financially sustainable. If you’ve brought a reusable sticker book previously\, please do not bring one in the future. This is our place to stop the scroll\, calm the overwhelm of ideas\, and start creating. \nThis space is perfect for seasoned junk-journal-ers who are looking for a cool community to co-create with\, as well as folks who are curious about junk journaling but aren’t sure where to begin! We meet you where you are\, regardless of experience\, and help you lean into creation for creation sake. \nJoin local artist Erika Rose (the owner of Creation Sake) at Divine Barrel for a carefree crafting session where you will learn what junk journaling is\, have the opportunity to play with a variety of upcycled crafting materials\, and meet new and fun crafty friends! \nAll skill levels are welcome & all materials will be provided (a blank journal\, various collage materials\, stickers\, markers\, crayons\, etc.) & you are encouraged (but not required!) to bring any of your own “junk” that you would like to add to your new journal spreads! Junk could be things like: concert/event tickets\, receipts\, photos\, travel brochures\, the possibilities are ENDLESS with junk journaling\, y’all. ENDLESS. \nIn June\, we celebrate my favorite\, Summerween! Expect spooky ephemera\, horror sticker books\, witchy realness\, and the classic orange\, black\, and purple halloween vibes. \nThemes are ALWAYS optional\, you can come and participate in the themes\, or you can vibe with whatever creative ideas are in your mind. At Creation Sake\, we stand by creating simply for the sake of it; we do not have to have a goal\, but we have found that sometimes\, having a theme helps calm the overwhelm.  \nTickets are tiered for accessibility\, so here’s the breakdown!
