Blood Donations Needed

Our friends at OneBlood are rolling the Big Red Bus over to DBB on Thursday, August 4, 2022 for a blood drive from 4-8pm! When you donate blood you’ll earn a $20 e-gift card, a OneBlood towel, free wellness check up, and if you give a pint of blood then you’ll get a pint of your choice on us (…just for a later date since you just gave blood)! You can schedule your appointment to donate blood at our NoDa brewery ahead of time by hitting the link below.

Biggest Concert in CLT
We are so excited to partner with our friends at Charlotte is Creative to host their brain child. This has to be THE biggest concert in Charlotte history! We’d like to introduce OneBand, a monthly meet up of musicians. Any musician interested in participating can sign up with CLT is Creative to perform a 3-song setlist.

Our first OneBand event will see over 25 musicians play at once on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 6:30pm! It’s completely free to attend. So grab a friend, enjoy some live music, delicious craft beer, empanadas with Carmela’s CLT, and feel the community! Check out the setlist for the first show:

CLT Sports & Beer Come Together
We love it when people come together for a good cause! Get out to Carolina Beer Temple on Sunday, August 14, 2022, and join the best damn pro sports fan clubs out there! The Crown Club, Roaring Riot & Mint City Collective will be out there grilling to raise money for Dream On 3, a charity whose aim is to make sports dreams come true for kids living with life-altering conditions. They’re grilling burgers, dogs, brats, etc., and it’s all free, but ask for a suggested donation if you’re able to. The party goes from 12-4pm, and we’ll be there sponsoring along with QC Sellars!

Belly Dancing & Middle Eastern Music
Take a trip to the Middle East on Friday, August 26, 2022 with a night of beer, belly dancing and live music! The wonderful Amustela, Nisaa Rose, and other members of Roses of the Realm will be performing entrancing belly dancing while the super talented band, Sonem, performs Middle Eastern music to accompany! The event is completely free to join, so bring your friends and loved one. The party starts at 6pm, and dancing goes from 7-9pm! Don’t miss out on another wonderful opportunity to be unusually lovely with us!
Small Batch Fridays
Fridays are a big day for small beer! If you follow us then you’ve seen we’ve been releasing some incredibly fun small batch beers on Fridays recently! The brew crew has been firing up our 1 barrel pilot system in the beer lab to experiment and explore! It’s the perfect sized batch to get as wild and crazy or traditional as we want.

Come out this Friday, 8/5/22 to sample our latest concoction, Electro-Lite, which is a smoothie sour brewed with LOADS of watermelon, banana & creamy lactose. Then, the following week you’ll be able to try our GABF award-winning The Big Lubelski, Polish Gratzer. And that’s just a taste of what’s to come!
