A Moment of Divine Clarity

We’re cooking out TODAY, friends! Happy 4th of July! We’ll be open from 12-5pm for all of your Independence Day craft beer needs, as well as grilling hot dogs for a good cause. All we’re asking for is a donation per plate, which will go directly towards our friends at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. We’ll have a jar for cash, as well as the ability to donate at the bar. We appreciate all of your support, and hope you have a happy and safe 4th!

A Moment of Divine Clarity

Are you ready to celebrate clear beer with us at A Moment of Divine Clarity? It’s a celebration of clear beer to fight back the haze of summer on Sat, 7/15/23, starting at 12pm… unless you’re a VIP! We’re bringing in a very limited amount of kegs and cans of some incredible clear beer examples from over a dozen of the finest breweries across America! If you don’t go the VIP ticket route, entry to the taproom is free for the event, and you will simply pay per pour. However, if you’d like to gain early access at 11am and other perks then go with a VIP ticket. Here is what comes with it:

On top of all the incredibly crystal clear beer we’re pouring, we’ll have Katsu Kart Food Truck on-site for lunch, and Soul Gastro Food Truck serving dinner. Crystal Fountains will be playing live music all afternoon, as well as a fun collaborative community art project planned with our friends at Charlotte Is Creative! Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament

Our friend and popular Twitch streamer, DiscountzTV, is back at DBB with another Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Tournament! Fire up those Switches or practice on ours in the taproom anytime because there are serious prizes on the line! The tournament goes down on Wednesday, 7/19/23, starting at 5pm with a free play session, followed by tournament registration at 6pm! It’s totally free to attend, and all ages our welcome to compete. Five Little Birds Food Truck will be fueling fingers with their mouth-watering gourmet sandwiches for dinner!

Carlos Can Read

The next installment of Carlos Can Read is back at Divine Barrel Brewing on Thurs, 7/20/23, starting at 7pm! Award-winning Poet, Carlos Robson, will host this monthly spoken-word variety show, and share some of his incredible works throughout the evening. Carlos will then feature a fun adult story time segment; and Robson will conduct a live interview with Charlotte Entrepreneur and tastemaker, Davita Galloway, to connect Charlottean’s with where Charlotte is and where it’s heading. Tickets are just $10 at the door, so come support local art!

Red, White & Brew

The professional wrestlers from USA Main Event Wrestling are throwing down at DBB yet again in celebration of Red, White & Brew! Come out to watch epic matchup after epic matchup on Sun, 7/23/23, starting at 4pm! The show is completely free and family-friendly. Grab the fam or a group of friends and pull up a stool… just watch out because they might use your stool to bash someone! The Chili Man will also be pulling up to the lot to serve his legendary hot dogs during the professional rumble in the Divine Barrel parking lot jungle!

1) A Moment of Divine Clarity: Cold IPA, 6.7% ABV, 81 IBUs – This Cold IPA was brewed as a Lager base with rice and hopped with El Dorado, Citra & HBC 586.

2) The Feelin’ I Forgot: West Coast IPA, 6.5% ABV, 90 IBUs – This West Coast IPA was hopped with Citra, Simcoe, Azacca & Mosaic.

3) Czech Pils: Czech Pilsner, 5.2% ABV – This gorgeous Czech Pils is slightly sweet with notes of toasty biscuit notes, followed by a very restrained hop presence for balance.

4) The Big Lubelski: Grätzer, 3.9% ABV – This traditional Polish Gratzer is mildly sweet & bready with a restrained bitterness and a clean, oak smoke finish.

Level Up Drag Brunch

Take your Sunday funday up a notch at our Level Up Drag Brunch, hosted on the final Sunday of every month in the DBB taproom! We partner with our friends at DKO Entertainment, Charlotte Gaymers Network, and MC, Onya Nerves, to bring you a high-energy show with some of Charlotte’s best drag performers! The event just costs $15 to purchase tickets online, or at the door. Bodega Food Wagon sets up shop to serve brunch during the event, and carafes of mimosas are also available. Summer is for big movies, and we’re celebrating some of the biggest hits with Mindless Minutia Trivia at our next themed trivia! Come out to Divine Barrel Brewing on Mon, 7/31/23, starting at 7pm for 4 rounds of Blockbuster Summer Movie Trivia! Bring your crew of movie nerds, and battle for the top prize of Charlotte Knights baseball tickets! RiqRas de Empanadas will also be here serving dinner!
