Unusually Lovely Open Mic Night

Spoken word lovers, listen up because tonight is your night! It’s time for another Unusually Lovely Open Mic Night in the DBB barrel room at 7pm! If you’re a fan of poetry or spoken word then consider joining us on the 1st Tuesday of every month to share your works, or simply hang out, enjoy a beer, and listen. NoDa Night Market

You’re not going to want to eat until about 4pm this Saturday, 11/11/23! We’re celebrating Asian culture with our friends at CLTure, Crown Station & Deejai Noodle Bar at the NoDa Night Market! Attendees will get to enjoy 11 deliciously authentic food trucks and restaurants hailing from diverse Asian cultures parked at both Divine Barrel Brewing & Crown Station. Aside from the yummy food, guests can expect live music performances, a special cultural dance performed by the Festival of India, as well as a small vendor market, art, drinks and more! Liquid Artistry Puddle Painting

Let your inner Georgia O’Keefe out by joining TuxedoKat on Tuesday, 11/14/23, starting at 7pm for her next Liquid Artistry Puddle Painting class! You’ll get to pick from an assortment of vibrant colors for your painting, and Kat will guide you through the painting process in the relaxed setting of our barrel room, which can allow your creative juices to flow. Attendees will then leave their beautiful creations with us for 48 hours to dry, and they should be ready for pick up by Thursday!

Carlos Can Read

You can’t miss out on the final edition of Carlos Can Read for 2023! This Charlotte-centric Variety Show is going down on Thursday, 11/16/23, starting at 7pm. Host & MC, Carlos Robson, is blowing this final show out! If you’re a fan of slam then you’re not going to want to miss out. Enjoy 4 of the most talented slam poets in town competing with the audience’s help deciding the winner! Carlos also has a few more surprises up his sleeve for the night, so make sure you save $10 for the cover at the door. Our friends at Hot Tamale will be serving delicious Mexican cuisine for dinner as well.

DeVito Day

Bring your boiled denim because we’re celebrating Danny DeVito’s birthday in style with our friend, Stencil Spray, and so many more friends! Get over to the Divine Barrel Brewing taproom on Friday, 11/17/23, starting at 6pm for an evening of wild fun. Guests can expect to play Nightcrawlers, enjoy live music, art, a DeVito Costume Contest with prizes, a pinata, rum ham, a special small batch of Wolf Cola hard seltzer, and so many more surprises to announce as we get closer to the event!

Level Up Drag Brunch

It’s time to mark your calendars for the next Level Up Drag Brunch with our friends at DKO Entertainment, Charlotte Gaymers Network, Onya Nerves & Bodega Food Wagon! The next show is going down on Sunday, 11/19/23, from 11am-1pm, and tickets are just $15. Guests can enjoy delicious brunch starting at 11am, the show starts at noon, don’t forget your $1 bills, and enjoy a carafe of mimosa while you’re taking in the show!

Black Friday

Once you finish with all the Black Friday insanity around town, or you’ve spent plenty of family time, then swing by Divine Barrel for a little rest and relaxation! We’re offering $4 pints and $5 Lager mugs all day on Friday, 11/24/23 to weary shoppers! Our friends at Ve-Go Food Truck will be on-site reinvigorating folks with a yummy vegan dinner from 6-9pm!

Giving Brewsday

There’s no better feeling than giving back to your community! Join us on Tuesday, 11/28/23, starting at 5:30pm with our friends at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte for Giving Brewsday! They have served over 3,100 families so far in 2023, so here’s your opportunity to raise a pint to help our friends continue their mission. A portion of taproom sales will be donated to RMH, and guests can drop off any can tabs that night as well. Our amazing neighbors across the street at Great Wagon Road Distilling are hooking us up with Salamander Vodka for our Mule. We’re very excited to add a cocktail program because it gives us more drink options for even more guests. Give them a try on your next visit!

Tried & True: Brown Ale, 6.0% ABV – Brewed in collaboration with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte. Expect notes of chocolate, caramel, and rich malty finish.

Technique Sweater: West Coast IPA, 6.5% ABV, 83 IBUs – This West Coast IPA was dry-hopped with mountains of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic & Riwaka.
