Emo Night This Friday
Are you ready to get in your feelings at Emo Night this Friday, 11/4/22? DJ Donnybrook is spinning a set of Emo tunes followed by a concert by Charlotte’s favorite pop punk/emo band, trEMOnt Band. The party is FREE and goes from 8-11pm, so come ready to drink and have fun… maybe… we guess.
Roastin’ for Research
Have you purchased your Roastin’ for Research food tickets yet? This amazingly unique oyster roast fundraiser is going down this Saturday, 11/5/22, from 12-8pm with our friends and sponsors at Reelin’ for Research, Ken & Lee’s Crew, & Credit Karma! The event is free to attend, but if you want all-you-can-eat oysters, fried seafood, fried chicken, slaw, hush puppies & more you’ll need to purchase a food ticket.

Aside from stuffing your face you can expect to see live music, silent auctions, raffles, and we’ve even brewed a special Oyster Stout just for the event. The best news is that ALL money raised from the day will be donated to UNC Children’s Hospital for childhood cancer research! DBB will also be donating a portion of taproom sales from the day as well, so come thirsty. Last year, the Roastin’ for Research team was able to raise over $30,000 in total!

Test Your Murderous Knowledge
Get over to Divine Barrel Brewing next Monday, 11/7/22, for True Crime Trivia starting at 7pm! Our friends at Mindless Minutia Trivia are back for 4 rounds of themed trivia surrounding all things true crime. There will be prizes for the top teams, so make sure to bring a crime-loving crew with you! Enjoy $10 flights, $12 crowlers to go, and our friends at DJ’s Hot Dogs will be serving hot dogs, burgers & sausages all night.
Jon G’s Returns
Our friends at Jon G’s BBQ returns to your favorite brewery in Charlotte next Wednesday, 11/9/22, at 5pm! They’re bringing all of the mouth-watering Texas-style BBQ. They’ll be serving this world class cue from 5-8pm, or until they sell out. Don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy some of the best barbecue you’ll ever try, and wash it down with some delicious craft beer!
The Drop is Coming
The Drop is coming! What is The Drop you ask? We’re glad you asked because our friends and partners at Charlotte is Creative summed it up perfectly, “The Drop is a new quarterly cultural meet-up featuring the revelation of a new mural, a conversation with the artists and meeting new Queen City creatives to collaborate with.”

The first edition of The Drop is going down at our taproom on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 7pm, and we’re so excited for #BeattiesFordStrong to be the first group of artists to take part in The Drop! It’s totally free to attend, so come support local arts & your community!

Rescue a Pup
We are so excited to welcome Forgotten Now Family Rescue on Saturday, 11/19/22, from 1-3pm! Our friends will be set up on our patio with some of the cutest dogs you’ll ever see who need forever homes! We’ll also be taking donations for FNFR in the taproom if you’re able to help their cause. There will even be a raffle with some fun prizes. Patty & The Dogs will also be serving from 12-8pm. So come change a dog’s life, and hopefully your own with a new bestie!
Small Biz Saturday NoDaHood Market
NoDaHood Market is back and bigger than ever! Small Biz Saturday NoDaHood Market takes place on 11/26/22, from 1-6pm, and it’s the perfect opportunity to support small and local! There will be over 70 vendors set up between Great Wagon Road Distilling, Free Will Craft & Vine, Crown Station & our parking lot! It’s a one-stop shop to get all of your holiday shopping done early. You can also enjoy food from Five Little Birds Food Truck & DJs at each location!

Playing in Traffic: Hazy IPA, 6.0% ABV, 52 IBUs – This hazy IPA was dry-hopped with Citra, El Dorado, Idaho 7 & Vic Secret.

Technique Sweater: West Coast IPA, 6.5% ABV, 96 IBUs – This West Coast IPA was dry-hopped with mountains of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic & Riwaka.

Beer Flavored Beer: American Lager, 5.0% ABV – Please reference the name for tasting notes.

Defensive Pancake: American Porter, 6.8% ABV – A Robust Porter fermented with Madagascar vanilla and pure Vermont maple syrup.

Defensive French Toast: American Porter, 6.8% ABV – A Robust Porter fermented with Madagascar vanilla, Vermont maple syrup, Saigon cinnamon and coffee.

Wednesday, November 23, 2022 Release
Comfort in Darkness: Imperial Stout, 11.0% ABV – An Imperial Stout aged in Booker’s Bourbon barrels  for 18 months.

I Did It All for the Wookie: Cold IPA, 7.2% ABV, 90 IBUs – This Cold IPA was brewed as a Lager base with rice and hopped with Simcoe, Citra & El Dorado!

Somehow I Manage: Imperial Pecan Pie Brown Ale, 8.1% ABV – This Imperial Pecan Pie Brown was brewed with loads of hand-toasted pecans, Madagascan vanilla, and maple syrup.

Imaginary Rulebook: Hazy DIPA, 8.0% ABV, 35 IBUs – This hazy DIPA was double dry-hopped with Citra, El Dorado & Idaho 7.

You Were Only Waiting: Pastry Sour, 6.0% ABV – Collaboration with Blackbird Brewery, and is meant to be a sugar plum sour!
