Carlos Can Read: The Mix Up.

For our July show, Carlos Can Read is trying something new. We are inviting two guests at the top of their game to perform original work for a show that will be filmed for our new content channel. After twenty minutes from each of our performers and Carlos, the artists will collaborate on a series of songs & poems that have never been performed before and will never be seen again. July’s show will be a once-in-a-lifetime show that is not to be missed.

falllift is an Charlotte based duo that steps outside of traditional genres, integrating life experiences with their combined musical knowledge to create authentic and intentional sound. falllift writes about finding balance, navigating relationships, holding space for hardness, and the collective experience of what it means to be human in today’s world.

Boris ‘Bluz” Rogers is a spoken word artist, actor and producer, who has won 3 Emmys, 3 National Poetry Slam Championships and is the slam master and coach of SlamCharlotte and a Southern Fried Poetry Slam Champion. He has been one of the most active and visible artists in Charlotte for twenty years, curating and producing events that exemplify the vast influences and abilities that Charlotte’s arts and artists have to offer.
